Dr. Laura Diltz, DVM

Dr. Diltz grew up in southern California and western Washington state before attending Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where she obtained a B.S. in Animal Science. She then returned to her west coast roots, completing her DVM at Washington State University. She couldn’t wait to get back to warm sunny weather and has been practicing in Arizona for the past 17 years.

An animal enthusiast for as long as she can remember, Dr. Diltz has always been the most passionate about cats. Her baby book is full of pictures of her snuggling with cats and this has evolved to wanting to provide them the best medical care along with providing as low stress visits as possible. Cats are not small dogs and Dr. Diltz is happy to be at a clinic where everyone can focus on the special needs of cats. She loves general practice to have the ability to form long term relationships with clients and patients. Her special areas of interest are preventative care as well as early detection to better manage common chronic diseases in cats such as intestinal disease, kidney disease, and hyperthyroidism.

Dr. Diltz shares her home with five cuddly cats. When not seeing patients or spending time with her own furry friends, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, socializing with friends and relaxing with a good book.
